Jobsite Superintendent / Project Manager

You run the job, not just work it. From posting permits and calling in inspections to counting material deliveries, documenting every roof, and running the final magnet sweep — you make sure each project gets done right, on time, and to code.

Position Overview

This is a full-time position. The standard workweek is Monday through Friday; however, weekend work may be required based on project demands. The position may require work in both office and field environments based on customer appointments and project follow-ups.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Roofing Jobsite Superintendent / Project Manager is responsible for overseeing roofing projects from start to finish, including but not limited to:

  • Oversee all roofing projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure proper posting of permits on each jobsite.
  • Call in inspections and ensure all inspections are scheduled and passed in a timely manner.
  • Upon material delivery:
    • Count all materials delivered.
    • Cross-check with the salesperson's order.
    • Report any discrepancies to the salesperson and ensure resolution.
  • Take and document photos during roof removal, including any rotten wood that requires replacement.
  • Maintain accurate records of all wood replacements for office billing.
  • Coordinate dump trailer setup at job sites.
    • Ensure dump trailers are dumped as needed.
    • Perform routine maintenance on trailers, including checking lights, batteries, and oil.
  • Conduct roof installation inspections, including photo documentation of progress and quality.
  • Ensure crews maintain a clean jobsite daily.
  • Perform a final job inspection, including:
    • Running a magnet for nails/debris.
    • Confirming all work meets company standards.
  • Submit completed job folder to the office upon final inspection and job completion.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must comply with all safety regulations and OSHA standards on the jobsite.
  • Must comply with all company procedures and policies.
  • Must maintain expected performance standards and customer service expectations.
