New Mexico.
FNF Is Here.
FNF Roofing is expanding into New Mexico — bringing 20+ years of Southwest roofing expertise to Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Taos, Angel Fire, and surrounding communities. High-altitude mountain roofs. Adobe and flat roof specialists. Desert climate proven. Licensed, insured, and ready.
20 Years in the
Southwest.
Now in New Mexico.
FNF Roofing was founded in Florida in 2005 and has spent two decades perfecting the craft of roofing in two of America's most demanding climates. We understand what relentless sun does to a roof. We know how to build systems that withstand violent monsoon storms, extreme thermal cycling, and high-UV desert conditions.
New Mexico is a natural next chapter. Our Arizona operation in Tucson has given us deep expertise in desert Southwest roofing — and New Mexico's unique combination of high-altitude mountain climates, adobe architecture, and desert landscapes is a challenge we're genuinely built for.
We're not arriving in New Mexico as outsiders. We're expanding from a region we know — with licensed crews, proven systems, and the same uncompromising standards that built our reputation across Florida and Arizona.
Snow Loads
Angel Fire and Taos receive 100+ inches of annual snowfall. Roofs must be engineered for heavy sustained snow loads.
Thermal Extremes
New Mexico sees 60°F+ daily temperature swings in mountain areas — cracking sealants and expanding/contracting every roof component.
Extreme UV
High elevation means thinner atmosphere — UV radiation at 7,000+ feet is significantly more intense than at sea level.
Monsoon Season
June–September monsoons bring sudden violent storms with high winds, heavy rain, and hail across all of New Mexico.
High Desert Wind
New Mexico's high desert plains generate sustained high winds and gusts that stress roof edges, flashing, and low-slope systems year-round.
One State.
Three Distinct Challenges.
New Mexico isn't a single climate — it's three fundamentally different roofing environments within a few hours of each other. FNF understands all three and brings the right system to each one.
Mountain North
Northern New Mexico's mountain communities sit at 6,500 to 10,000+ feet elevation. This is snow country — and snow loads, freeze-thaw cycles, and ice dams are the dominant roofing challenges here. Roofs must be designed and installed to handle heavy sustained snowpack, rapid melt events, and the constant thermal stress of extreme temperature swings between day and night.
- Heavy snow loads — 100+ inches annually at higher elevations
- Ice dam formation at eaves and valley intersections
- Severe freeze-thaw cycling cracking unsealed penetrations
- UV radiation intensity significantly elevated at altitude
- Summer hail events during monsoon season
- Steep-slope roofing dominant — metal and asphalt primarily
Historic Adobe
Santa Fe and the historic communities of northern New Mexico are defined by adobe and pueblo-style architecture — flat and low-slope roofs that require completely different roofing systems than pitched residential construction. Proper drainage design, quality flat roof membranes, and correctly flashed parapet walls are everything in this environment. The aesthetic also matters — flat roof systems must integrate cleanly with the region's iconic architectural character.
- Flat and low-slope roofs — ponding water is the enemy
- Adobe parapet walls requiring specialty flashing and sealing
- Monsoon season sudden heavy rainfall overwhelming poor drainage
- Extreme UV degrading membrane systems faster than lower elevations
- Historic property considerations for older structures
- Temperature swings cracking and lifting improperly installed systems
High Desert Metro
Albuquerque sits at 5,300 feet in the high desert along the Rio Grande — a metro area with significant roofing demand and a climate that combines intense UV, summer monsoon storms with large hail, and temperature swings that test every roofing system's thermal tolerance. Rio Rancho and the surrounding communities represent a large, growing residential and commercial market where FNF's proven desert Southwest expertise translates directly.
- Intense UV and solar radiation accelerating roof aging
- Monsoon hail events — golf ball-size hail common in severe cells
- High desert winds stressing edge metal and flashing year-round
- Mixed residential roofing — tile, shingle, and flat all common
- Commercial flat roof market significant in metro Albuquerque
- Insurance claim navigation for hail damage events
The Right Roof
for New Mexico
New Mexico's three distinct climates require three distinct approaches. Here's how FNF matches the right roofing system to each environment — and why it matters.
Metal Roofing
The premier roofing system for New Mexico's mountain communities. Standing seam metal handles heavy snow loads, sheds ice cleanly, withstands freeze-thaw cycling, and delivers 40–70 year performance with minimal maintenance. Metal's heat reflectivity is also a major advantage in high-desert environments where cooling costs are a real factor.
FNF installs standing seam, exposed fastener, and structural metal panel systems — color options that complement both mountain and desert architecture.
Flat & Low-Slope (TPO / EPDM)
Flat and low-slope roofing is the dominant system across Santa Fe's adobe architecture and Albuquerque's commercial properties. TPO membranes are the gold standard — heat-weldable seams, UV resistant, and engineered for proper drainage design. EPDM provides superior flexibility for temperature-cycling environments.
Proper drainage engineering is everything in this climate — a flat roof with poor drainage design will fail under New Mexico's monsoon rain volumes.
Asphalt Shingles
Impact-resistant asphalt shingles are the right choice for New Mexico's suburban residential market — particularly in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and mid-elevation communities where steep-slope residential construction is standard. Class 4 impact-rated shingles are highly recommended given New Mexico's significant hail exposure during monsoon season.
Hail damage to asphalt shingles is one of the most common insurance claims in New Mexico — and FNF's documentation process is built to support that claim from the start.
Modified Bitumen & Roof Coatings
Modified bitumen systems offer excellent performance on flat roofs where extreme temperature cycling is a concern — their flexibility prevents cracking at cold temperatures and their durability handles UV-intensive high-altitude conditions. Elastomeric roof coatings are also an effective tool for extending the life of existing flat roofs before a full replacement is warranted.
Storm & Hail Damage Response
New Mexico's monsoon season produces some of the Southwest's most damaging hail events. When a storm hits, FNF responds fast — thorough damage documentation, insurance-ready photo packages, and direct carrier coordination from first call to approved repair. We've navigated hundreds of storm claims across Florida and Arizona and bring that same expertise to New Mexico homeowners and property owners.
Roof Repair & Emergency Response
Leaks don't wait for convenient timing — especially after a winter storm or monsoon event. FNF provides emergency repair response and fast, accurate inspections across our New Mexico service area. We photograph every repair, give you an honest assessment on whether repair or replacement makes more sense, and get the work done right the first time.
Where We Serve
in New Mexico
FNF is actively serving four key markets in New Mexico — with plans to expand our footprint as our presence grows in the state.
Angel Fire
High-altitude mountain community at 8,400 feet. Heavy snow loads, freeze-thaw cycles, and mountain UV make this one of New Mexico's most demanding roofing environments.
Taos
Historic adobe community and ski resort town. Mix of flat adobe roofs, pitched mountain homes, and older structures requiring specialty knowledge and care.
Santa Fe
New Mexico's capital and largest city in the north. Adobe architecture dominates — flat and low-slope roofing specialists required. Historic properties need extra care and expertise.
Albuquerque
New Mexico's largest metro. Large residential and commercial roofing market with significant hail exposure and a mix of tile, shingle, and flat roof systems.
Growing Our NM Footprint
We're starting with four core markets and expanding from there. If you're in New Mexico and don't see your community listed — call us. We may already be coming your way, and free estimates are available across the state as we grow.
Not a Stranger
to This Climate
FNF isn't coming to New Mexico cold. We're expanding from a two-decade track record in the Southwest — with the expertise, licensing, and proven systems to deliver from day one.
Southwest Climate Proven
Twenty years in Florida and Arizona means FNF understands extreme UV, violent storm seasons, high heat, and the specific demands of desert Southwest roofing — knowledge that translates directly to New Mexico's conditions.
High-Altitude Experience
Roofing at elevation is different. Snow loads, freeze-thaw cycling, ice dam formation, and UV intensity at altitude require specific material choices and installation knowledge. FNF brings that expertise from mountain-adjacent markets.
Adobe & Flat Roof Specialists
Our Arizona crews have spent years mastering flat and low-slope roofing systems for desert architecture — TPO, modified bitumen, drainage design, and parapet flashing. That expertise is exactly what New Mexico's adobe market requires.
Honest, Transparent Pricing
New Mexico deserves the same standard we've held in every market — clear itemized estimates, no mid-project surprises, and honest recommendations on repair vs. replacement. That doesn't change because the state does.
Insurance Claims Experience
Hail and storm damage claims are a major part of New Mexico's roofing market. FNF has navigated hundreds of insurance claims across Florida and Arizona — we bring that documentation and negotiation expertise to every NM storm event.
Licensed & Fully Insured
FNF is fully licensed and insured in New Mexico — plus Florida and Arizona. Full liability coverage and workers' compensation on every project. We never ask you to take our word for it — documentation is available before any work begins.
